Our Mission Statement
The Jones River Village Historical Society works to collect, preserve and educate the public about the history of the Town of Kingston.
It makes its collections accessible through exhibitions, research assistance, educational programs and lectures. It also preserves, protects and
maintains the Society’s Headquarters, the Major John Bradford Homestead and other possessions.
The Jones River Village Historical Society is a non-profit 501(c) Society supported by members dedicated to preserving the important aspect of Kingston’s and America’s history. 100% of all of our proceeds from membership and fundraising events held throughout the year, go directly to the Jones River Village Historical Society so that we can continue on with our mission.
If you are interested in preserving the history of Kingston, the Society is always welcoming new members. Annual cost for a single membership is $35.00, a family membership is $45.00 and a business/corporate membership is $125.00. You can join by clicking on our Membership tab using PayPal. When using PayPal, be sure and click on the DOX box, downlaod and print the membership form, fill the form out and mail to the address below. If you don’t want to use PayPay, you can print out the membership form, make your check payable to JRVHS and mail to JRVHS, P.O. Box 22, Kingston, MA 02364.
